My best friend had an accident today. She was on the highway, driving to school, when a truck changed lanes without blinking. She had to swerve to the left, the road was wet, the car got out of control, she crashed into the guard rail, the car was turned around, slided across the lanes and finally came to a hold on a small embankment at the side of the road. The car is totaled. My friend is, miraculously, alive and physically completely fine.

She could have died today. The truck driver didn´t even stop.


She came to tell me in person. I couldn´t let go of her afterwards, I had to hug her and hold her hand the whole evening. I´m shaking. I don´t want to let her out of my sight. She´s in shock. Me too.
